Summer is here!
Kids camp was a great success.
The kids had a great time and Laurie
was exahusted at the end but had a great time too.
We are going to try to schedule another kids camp during the
Christmas holidays since so many have asked. 
Please keep an eye on the calender.
 
 
 
*Fun Fridays at Sew Special* 

The second Friday of the month @ 9:30-2:00

 
Fun Friday is a new series of classes that are project oriented and
intended to be fun, quick projects that you can finish in a day.
We will use Bernina techniques to enhance each of these fun
projects helping you to expand your sewing skills.  Take one or
take them all..but most important have fun!  Some examples are
the monkey Magoo, a Snazzy Bag purse, My Favorite Bag purse,
O Christmas Tree wallhanging and a Charmed tablerunner.
It is our goal to keep the price of these classes reasonable. 
 For that reason we ask that your purchase your supplies at Sew Special.
Class fee is $10.00

*Virtual Bernina Club* +

Please be our guest.  This is a Virtual class that is sponsored
by Bernina of America. This class is taught by a Bernina Educator
via the Internet.  You will have the opportunity to watch a
Bernina Educator teach the class, Live.
We will have a host in the class who will provide additional instruction
after the virtual presentation is done. We will have samples of the projects
and a time for you to ask question and try some of the techniques demonstrated.
A CD with the project instructions and other helpful information
will be available to purchase if you like.
These classes are very popular at shops throught the U.S.
an we felt it was time we tried.  Please join us and see what you think.
All levels of sewers and software are welcome.

  *Virtual Software Club*

There will not be a class during the month of April

Software Sampler is a Virtual presentation that teaches techniques and tricks
with the Artista Software.  This is a class for all levels of people with the
Bernina Software or those thinking about purchasing the software.
Amanda Whitlatch, the presenter, will work through a project
highlighting tips and techniques of the many features within the software. 
We will have a host available after the virtual presentation,
to review these techniques and show you samples of the projects.
A CD will be available for a nominal fee that will include
project instructions, video clips and other information.
The class is free to anyone who has purchased an Embroidery Machine
or Software thru Sew Special.
A $5.00 class fee will be charged to those who have
not purchased from Sew Special.

~~Bernina TTLC Service~~
No worries, no troubles just let Terry Tech give your machine some TLC
(Terry Loving Care).Remember to bring in your bobbin cases, BSR & 3A foot
and any sample of discontent.  When your mashine says to bring it in for
maintainance-don't panic.  It has read the number of stitches sewn and is a
suggestion from Bernina for optimum performance.
Clean under the stitch plate, finish your projects and when it is convenient bring it in.
Series 8 machines are coming up for one year check up.  Please wait until the middle of
February or later.  Terry will be attending training in Houston to ensure that she
has the latest and greatest updates.

~~Class Scheduling~~
Reminder:  You must register and pay for all classes in advance.
In the event that a class is canceled due to low enrollment
(class minimum is 3) you will be notified within 3 days
prior to the scheduled time and a refund will be given.
In the event that you can’t come to the class that you have registered for,
you must give us 3 days notice prior to the scheduled time to receive a refund,
which will be a store credit.  If you just forget and don’t show up, no refund will be given.
Most classes have a maximum of 12 students so early registration is important.
Please no perfume or cellphones.
When coming to a class, it is a good idea to arrive about fifteen minutes
prior to start time, to set up machines and get ready.
This will help the class to begin on time.

~~Frequent Buyer Club~~
This is a discount program for frequent buyers.  There is a 10% discount everyday
and a 20% discount on the 15th of the month.  The cost is $20.00 for one year of savings.
These discounts will be on in stock items only.  There are no exceptions to this rule.
No items may be placed on hold in anticipation of the double discount day.
Sew Special reserves the right to determine what is eligible for the discount.
No kits, embroidery cards, machines, cabinets, special orders or other items marked
as no discount or no double discount, will be included in this discount day.
