What Should You Bring to Class?
Every class will have its own supply list published on the class description however it would be a good idea to
bring along basic sewing/quilting supplies.

SATX - Creative Classes
Fitting group meets here in our classroom monthly. For American Sewing Guild members.

Create the adorable and functional Cutie Cube by Minki Kim in this fun intermediate sewing class! Students will learn zipper installation, bag construction techniques, and finishing details while creating a charming cube-shaped pouch perfect for sewing supplies, cosmetics, gifts, or travel organization. *Pattern supply requirements are enough to make both cubes. In class we will make one. Construction is the same, so you can choose which one you want to make!

This two-part class introduces the fundamentals of piecing and quilting through the creation of a four-patch baby quilt. In Session One, students will learn how to rotary cut fabric and construct the quilt top, with guidance on fabric and thread selection, proper use of rotary rulers and mats, and achieving an accurate quarter-inch seam allowance. Session Two will focus on layering the quilt top with batting and backing, followed by machine quilting and machine binding to complete the project. By the end of the class, students will have learned the full quilting process from cutting to a finished, bound quilt.
