Swirling Stars Foundation Paper Piecing Zipper Bag.KTX
Learn the basic steps of foundation paper piecing. You will paper piece segments and join them together to make a star. You will make three stars to construct a zippered pouch.
You will need to have your fabric precut and labeled before class. Cutting instructions will be sent to you by email.
Basic sewing skills. Basic knowledge of Foundation Paper Piecing is advised but not necessary.

Bring your sewing machine with cord, foot pedal and open toe foot.

Both paper and fabric scissors
Add a Quarter ruler
Seam ripper
Rotary cutter with new blade
Cutting mat
Glue stick
Neutral or matching thread
Pins (flat head pins, preferred)
2.5” x 8” or larger ruler
Seam roller
Colored pencils, about 4
New needle
Iron and pressing mat
Fabric Requirements:
Colored scraps - Pick 3 color ways. Bring 4 shades for each of the color ways. ( If you choose to use blue, bring 4 contrasting blues.)

1 Fat Quarter Lining Fabric
⅓ yard Decor Bond Interfacing 809
¼ yard Steam a Seam
Batting scraps (2-10” x 14” pieces)
14” plastic zipper
