The techniques used in this class will be layering fabrics with precision, cutting 60° triangles, and sewing kaleidoscopic hexagon blocks. Making these blocks is addictive! Ideas on how to design your quilt using color placement. Six repeats of the fabric design measured along the selvedge edge is needed, along with a 60° ruler and the One-Block Wonders book.

quarter-inch foot
12” and 24” rulers
60° ruler ( not larger than 12”)
large cutting mat
60mm rotary cutter with a new blade
flat-head flower pins,
wooden iron/purple thang for finger pressing
1 yd of 20” wide flannel for on the go design board
Fabric: Do not pre-wash fabric! Press the fabric well with starch/substitute for accurate cutting.
