Papercuts are so much fun. Learn how to make your own papercuts as you make this beautiful Alamo block. Learn how to prep the block in order to be sucessful. Using the needle turn technique, you will learn how to cutway your main fabric as you needleturn around. Curves, points, circles its all there to learn with this wonderfully fun technique. Ways to complete your project will also be discussed.
Supplies (Printer Friendly Version)
- 20” sq of background
- 20” sq of fabric for Alamo
- Aurifil 80wt thread to match Alamo fabric
- Bohin Applique long #10 or Straw, Milleners Needles
- Good sharp small scissors (I use Famore microtips)
- Lightbox (optional)
- Heat erasable marker that will show up on Alamo fabric
- (for dark fabrics I use a Clover white fine marking pen
- For light fabrics I use a frixion Blue or Black pen)
