Paper Piecing Pine Ridge Table Top.SATX

Create beautiful, Scandinavian inspired placemats or a table runner using a new freezer paper piecing method where you don't have to rip out the paper after stitching! This is a much faster and efficient method!
With basic sewing skills you can learn to paper piece! It’s like sewing by number! Using printable freezer paper, this method is much quicker and efficient. Placemats are turned and topstitched for a snappy finish.
Supplies Needed(PRINTER FRIENDLY VERISON):
Before Class, you must make a photo copy of the Templates for the table runner or placemat onto the matte side of the freezer paper.
-Pine Ridge Tabletop pattern purchased from Sew Special Quilts
-Sewing Machine in good working order with bobbin
-Foot for straight stitching. (#10 for BERNINA, Edge Joining foot for Baby Lock)
-All Purpose Foot ( #1 or #34 for BERNINA, J foot for Baby Lock)
-Printable Freezer paper
-Fabric requirements listed on the back of the pattern. (Fleece preferred over batting)
-Sharp 80/12 needle
-Small iron and pressing mat (optional but VERY helpful)
-Add-A-Quarter Plus ruler ( 6” or 12”)
-Rotary cutter and small mat
-Sharp scissors
-Thread - 50wt
-Pins
-Seam ripper
