Patchwork Duffle Mini.SATX
This class will teach you to make a beautiful duffle style bag for yourself or someone else. These beautiful bags can be used to hold all kinds of items. It also contains 2 outside pockets. It's great as over overnight bag for anyone of any age, especially kids and young adults. Your fabric makes the personality of the bag and a GREAT way to use up your scrap fabric. Don't let the word "mini" fool you! This bag is still a very good size!
Fabric selection prior to class is encouraged so you have time to go home with a completed project. Class 1 provides time to choose quilt sandwich ideas and piecing. The Sew Special staff would be happy to assist in selecting fabric and obtaining supplies. As always, tips and tricks are offered during both classes. This is not a beginner class, but some bag making experience is HIGHLY recommended.
Three versions of this bag is being offered with 2 classes:
(approximate finished size 10" High x 17.5" Wide x 8.5" Deep)
Class 1 will cover bag choices for quilting and cutting your body, side panels, pockets, bindings and handle. Improv Piecing Quilt as You Go (QAYG) option will be taught for those wanting to use scraps or any leftover precuts laying around.
Class 2 will cover attachment of bindings, handle, zipper and side panels. By end of class you may get to take home a completed duffle bag!
All are available at Sew Special Quilt shop - 15% off class supplies
