This is a 3-yard quilt class designed especially for beginners. The
pattern “Serenity” from the Fabric Café book: “Go Bold With 3-Yard Quilts”
by Fran Morgan will teach you many skills necessary to make quilts you will
be proud of!
This beginning quilting class will emphasize good habits for precision
piecing in all your future quilts. Accurate measuring of your fabrics and
precise ¼” seam allowances will make this fun quilt pattern a joy to
construct. Choose your favorite three fabrics, light, medium and dark, and
come for a lively discussion of quilt making, with all your questions
answered.

-Go Bold With 3-Yard Quilts by Fran Morgan purchased at Sew Special Quilts
-Three fabrics, one-yard each, starched and pressed
-Add ½ yard of fabric for binding.
-Sewing Machine (cleaned, oiled and with a new needle)
-Matching thread and bobbin
-Rotary cutter
-Large mat (24” x 36”)
-2 rotary rulers: 24” and 12” (or 12½”) long by 6/6.5"
-Small iron and ironing mat if desired
-Wooden iron or metal spoon for finger pressing
-Measuring tape
-Starch or Best Press
