Beginner Quilting Class using Wish Pattern.SATX
This class will be helpful for true beginning quilters. The Baby size pattern of WISH by Cluck Cluck Sew will be used. It is a fun, simple class that uses strip piecing, and “flip and sew” corners to make stars.
The fun pattern, “Wish” by Cluck Cluck Sew, in the Baby size will be taught with emphasis on skills for beginner quilters. Reading a pattern and using rotary cutters will be explained, along and lots of help with the dreaded scant 1⁄4” seam allowance.
The fabric will be cut in class. Make sure that you are familiar with your sewing machine, and that it is in good working
order.
BEFORE CLASS: Please use starch or best press on all of the fabric before class.

- Sewing Machine in good working order. (Cleaned, oiled and with a new needle)
- Purchase pattern, Wish by Cluck Cluck Sew from Sew Special Quilts
-Fabric Requirements for Baby Size Quilt
- 2 Fat Quarters for the Stars
- 4 Fat Quarters or 12 2.5" strips for Star Tails
- 1-1/4yds for Background fabric
- 1/4" Foot
-Matching Thread and Bobbin
-A rotary Cutter with a sharp blade
-Large Rotary Cutting Mat ( 24" x 36" )
-Bring 2 Rotary Rulers: 24" and 12.5" long rulers
-Small Scissors
