If you are interested in making a Foundation Paper Pieced border for your project bag, but haven't tried that technique yet, the Swirling Stars FPP Class on June 6 taught by Linda Lotz would be a good class for you to take.
Supplies Needed:
Must-haves:
Your best sewing machine
Foot control
Power cord
Basic sewing supplies - cutting mat (18 x 24), scissors, thread snips, wonder clips, pins, etc.
90/14 Topstitch needle for your sewing machine
Paper scissors for cutting out labels
Rotary cutter (45 mm) - we cannot provide you with a rotary cutter, so please bring your own.
Project Bags 2.0 pattern - please MAKE A COPY of the pattern before coming to class!!!
Thread - 50 wt. Poly works great on by Annie projects
Choose one Project Bag to make and bring all the materials for it as listed on the back of the pattern. Don’t
forget the SF101 (Shape Flex) and Soft and Stable.
Nice to have, but not absolutely necessary:
Stiletto - I love the by Annie stiletto
Walking foot
Rulers - 6” x 24”, 6” x 6” or smaller
Removable marking pen/chalk
Quarter inch presser foot
Edge - stitch foot
