Stitch and Stash Tote.SATX

The Stitch and Stash Tote by Knot and Thread is a versatile and beautifully structured tote that blends form and function, making it an ideal project for makers looking to expand their bag-making experience. Designed with organization in mind, this tote features a spacious interior paired with multiple pockets to neatly store tools, notions, or daily essentials.
In this class, participants will develop and refine essential construction techniques used in modern bag making. Skills include working with interfacing to create stability and structure, assembling layered components, and sewing accurate seams for a polished finish. Makers will learn how to construct and attach interior and exterior pockets, box corners for depth, and securely install durable handles.
Additional techniques include topstitching for both strength and visual appeal, managing bulk at seam intersections, and achieving clean, professional edges throughout the project. By the end of the class, participants will complete a durable, stylish tote and gain the confidence to tackle more advanced bag patterns with precision and creativity.
