Join us for a creative and skill-building workshop featuring the popular Cutie Cube pattern by Minki Kim!
This class is perfect for confident beginners to intermediate sewists looking to expand their bag-making skills while creating a stylish and practical zippered cube pouch.
During the class, students will learn techniques for working with quilted fabric, installing zippers, sewing dimensional corners, attaching binding, and achieving polished professional finishes. The Cutie Cube makes an excellent project for organizing sewing notions, toiletries, crafting supplies, or small gifts. With guided instruction and hands-on support, participants will leave class with a completed project and new bag-making confidence they can apply to future sewing projects.

- Coordinating thread
- Sewing machine in good working order
- Standard sewing ¼” foot
- Zipper foot
- Sewing clips and pins
- Rotary cutter and mat
- Quilting rulers
- Fabric scissors and thread snips
- Iron and pressing supplies
- Fabric marking pen (disappearing)
- Seam ripper and stiletto
- Optional: Hand-sewing needle for finishing
- Optional: Label, zipper pull, decorative embellishments
PREP BEFORE CLASS:
- Read through the entire pattern prior to class
- Pre-quilt fabric as desired before making any cuts
- Cut all pattern pieces before class, but after quilting
- Label fabric pieces for easy identification
- Prepare and cut binding strips
