Boulder Backpack in Cork.SATX
In this class you will learn how to sew with cork! With the difficulty of not being able to use regular pins on cork, you will learn how to adapt and use awesome tricks to make your bag. In addition to learning how to construct the bag; we will touch on the difference of interfacings (depending on how structured you want), creating zippered pockets, inserting zippers and experience adding hardware to our backpack.

Double Sided Hem and Cuff Tape

Fabric Erasable marker, such as Chacopen

Requirements: | Be familiar with your sewing machine. Please pre-fuse and cut all your pieces before class. The reasoning is the time it takes to cut all the pieces, will take away from the techniques learned in class. (You may want to bring your lunch.) |
