Dashing Duo Quilt Pattern by Kelly Renay

The Dashing Duo Quilt Pattern was my pre-cut friendly quilt design challenge for 2024/2025. As each year I try to design a new quilt pattern using only or mostly pre-cut fabrics, like charm packs and layer cakes.

The pattern is skilled for a beginner and beyond, as the pattern involves block based assembling with all straight lines and matching seams. 

Here's all the details for the Dashing Duo Quilt Pattern:

• 5 Finished Size Options: Lap 41x45-1/2" to a King 93x97-1/2"
• Skill Level: Beginner and beyond
• Layer Cake [10" squares], Fat-quarter, or Charm Pack [5" squares] + Yardage Friendly
• The pattern requires basic quilting knowledge of piecing and use of a 1/4" seam allowance. 
• Block Based Quilt Layout
• Mix and Match Method: Layer Cake and Fat-Quarter Versions
• Swapping Method: Charm Pack + Yardage Version, where you alternate the two yardage colors.
• Charm Pack + Yardage Version Only! Alternative strip piecing method for first two sewing steps.
• Yardage Requirements: See photos for materials needed.

As an added bonus the pattern includes coloring diagrams, to help with your fabric placement. Along with cutting diagrams.
