Today I want to introduce you to my ghosty friend, the main character of Bittersweet. He would really like to retire, but first he has to hold jack-lantern auditions for a bunch of unruly Cinderella pumpkins.
The name of this collection was chosen for so many reasons. The main character in this fun collection is a disgruntled ghost, ready to retire from managing these unruly pumpkins every year. The pumpkins don’t listen to him, they roll around and laugh when he is giving them direction and basically aren’t giving him the respect he deserves.
The elements of the ghost panel repeat throughout the collection, with bittersweet bunches, wrought iron fencing, pumpkins, painterly swirls and a ghostly textured blender.
